Whilst there is no specific limit to how long we are willing to play for, typically a live band will play for about three hours in total (excluding breaks).
For most weddings and corporate functions there will be a specific run sheet that will include reception, dinner, speeches and then dancing.
Most clients opt to have live music for reception, pre-recorded background music for dinner, and then live dance music for post-speeches.
The band will usually end up playing for about 2.5 hours – 3 hours excluding any quick breaks.
The band has themed playlists that we turn to at specific parts of the evening. We are more than happy for clients to provide their own playlists for dinner/lounge music. We will typically try not to stop once the main dance set has started unless we have a technical issue that needs to be quickly resolved.
WILL THE BAND BE HAPPY TO LEARN NEW MUSIC FOR THE EVENT?
Of course! We are more than happy to learn specific music for wedding ceremonies, first dances etc. We are also happy to learn up to three additional new songs for the reception. Saying this, our setlist is extensive and it is highly likely that we will know most songs that will be suggested.

DO I NEED TO SUPPLY ANY OF THE EQUIPMENT?
The band will supply all musical and lighting equipment. The only additional consideration is whether the event venue has a stage. If not then we would highly recommend hiring a small, collapsible stage to help create the right look and atmosphere. There are numerous hire companies that you can secure one of these from easily and relatively inexpensively.
HOW FAR WILL THE BAND TRAVEL?
The band is happy to travel anywhere in the world (apart from warzones)! For Australia and New Zealand, we will charge flights, vehicle fuel and modest accommodation on top of our usual rates.
WHAT HAPPENS IF ONE OF THE BAND MEMBERS SUDDENLY CAN'T ATTEND THE EVENT?
We have a contingency plan for each potential eventuality. That’s why each band member has a stand-in musician on call for every event, ready to go in case something goes wrong.
